My name is Sandi, and I am a single parent of a 12 yr old and I am desperate for a little help.
I created and published this site out of love and hope, and I am asking the kind folks here on the World Wide Web for just a smidge of help.
I am not looking for something for nothing, but would rather give something in
return. I am a firm believer in earning your way through life, even though
working 6 days a week keeps me barely making ends meet. But my dear departed Mother
always taught me to do the right thing, and doing the right thing has actually
gotten me absolutely nowhere. As a matter of fact, it has buried me deeper and deeper
over the years until now I am forced to ask for help from people I don't even know.
I am a very nice person, as a matter of fact I am a Certified Nurses Aide and work in
a skilled facility or nursing home, and work with the elderly each day doing
the nastiest jobs imagineable, jobs that most people would rather die than do,
yet still I cannot earn enough money to keep my 12 year old car on the road,
groceries on the table, clean clothes on our backs and the bills paid until
right before the cutoff time. You would think that a job as important as the
one I do would pay better, but it doesn't.
That is where you come in
All I need is enough to get a good
dependable automobile, some new clothes for my child and maybe a few new
uniforms for myself. And shoes, and maybe a decent place to live, but that is not at the top of my list of things to pay for. As of now we do have
a roof over our heads. We live in a small one bedroom apartment, I gave my
daughter the room and I sleep in the livingroom. All I need is for 25,000 people
to want to help me with a dollar, one little buck. In return I can send you a
recipe for something very tasty, or for home-made cat or dog treats!

I am not a spendthrift, I have no credit cards....fact is they laugh at me when I apply, I can't even get one. We don't
even have cable t.v.! We use rabbit ears on my 10 year old yard-sale television that is missing an inch on the top and the bottom of the picture.I drink the free coffee at work and go without lunch
to save money so I can let my daughter have new earrings or a new blouse
once in a while, you know how teenage girls are....
